eComFax® is a communications platform in which the fax is the main sending method but not the only one.
Through the ease of SMS, eComFax® enables users to send messages to mobile SMS with the convenience of a desktop or email client; as with other types of messages sent via eComFax®.
From the website, once logged in, the user should choose SMS and indicate the addressee’s telephone number (including "+" at the start always and the country code if international) and write the message. If the message is over 160 characters, the system will send the remaining characters in a separate message.
Using an email client, the user should write the addressee’s telephone number (including "+" at the start always and the country code if international) followed by “@sms.ecomfax.com” and in the subject field indicate own security PIN code, followed by the text to-be-sent. The body of the message will be ignored.
